Lewis County Junior Wrestlers traveled to Braxton County to compete in the West Virginia Youth Wrestling Association Regional III Tournament.
West Virginia Youth Wrestling Association organized the state into four separate regions consisting of neighboring counties. At the end of season each region hosts a regional tournament for wrestlers to compete for placement in the top six of their division.
The top six wrestlers in each division of their region will be invited to compete in the West Virginia Youth Wrestling State Championships held in Beckley this year on March 10 and 11. This tournament is the only way to earn a position in the state championships creating a competitive competition.
