Woman Jailed for Violating Home Confinement

An Alum Bridge woman was sentenced to serve 30-days in jail after she was arrested on a drug possession charge while serving home confinement on previous drug charges.
Stephanie B. Farley, 32, of Vadis Road, Alum Bridge, was charged with possession of a controlled substance/marijuana and possession of a controlled substance/heroin by Deputy B.D. Hendershot of the Lewis County Sheriff’s Departmen on March 27.
On March 28, Farley pleaded guilty to both charges before Magistarate Roger D. Clem, Jr.  On the possession of marijuana charge she was assessed court costs of $160.25 and received a three month suspended jail sentence replaced with home incarceration. On the possession of heroin charge she was assessed court costs of $185.25 and received a three month suspended jail sentence replaced with three months of home incarceration.
On June 21, Farley’s home incarceration was revoked after she was arrested on a drug possession charge on June 16.  She was sentenced to serve three months in jail with credit for any time served.
Other misdemeanor judgments handed down recently in Lewis County Magistrate Court included the following individuals:
Charles R. Snyder, Jr., 39, of Old Rt. 33, Weston, was charged with felony failure to register information as required by sex offenders by Cpl. M. Denison, WVSP, on Jan. 19.
On June 29, the felony charge was dismissed as part of a plea agreement upon motion by the state before Magistrate Clem. Snyder pleaded guilty to a lesser misdemeanor offense of failure to register or provide notice of registration change. He was assessed a fine of $250, court costs of $160.25 and received a six month suspended jail sentence replaced with one year of probation.
David R. Bleigh, 47, of Hackers Creek Road, Jane Lew, was charged with 20 counts of unemployment fraud by Kim Pasternak, Workforce WV, on Nov. 9, 2016.
On June 23, under a plea agreement with the state, Bleigh pleaded guilty to one count and all other counts were dismissed upon motion by the state before Magistrate Clem, with the notation that Bleigh had made full restitution to the state.
On the one fraud charge, Bleigh was assessed a fine of $100 and court costs of $185.25.
Cleveland L. Hawkins, Sr., 49, of Eastland Street, West Milford, was charged with harassment by Cpl. E.J. Riddle, WPD, on Oct. 28, 2016.
On June 28, Hawkins pleaded guilty before Magistrate Clem. He was assessed court costs of $160.25 and was given a 30-day suspended jail sentence replaced with one year of probation to include no contact with the victim.
Jeffrey A. Saltis, 24, of Upper Pecks Run, Buckhannon, was charged with possession of a controlled substance/percocet and obstructing by Deputy J.S. VanMeter, LCSD, on May 17.
On June 23, under a plea agreement with the state, Saltis pleaded guilty to the obstructing charge before Magistrate Michael R. Gissy and the possession charge was dismissed upon motion by the state.
On the obstructing charge Saltis was assessed court costs of $185.25 and received a 30-day suspended jail sentence replaced with home incarceration, on the condition that he test negative for drug use on July 10.
Ernest O. Nicholson, 32, of Bank Street, Weston, was charged with violation of a domestic violence protection order by Tpr. F.J. Turansky, WVSP, on June 8.
On June 28, Nicholson pleaded guilty before Magistrate Clem. He was assessed a fine of $250, court costs of $160.25 and was given a 20-day jail sentence with credit for 20-days served prior to entering his plea.
Amanda J. Starcher, 32, of Wildcat Road, Ireland, was charged with obstructing and public intoxication by Deputy B.D. Hendershot, LCSD, on April 19.
On June 28, under a plea agreement with the state, Starcher pleaded guilty to the obstructing charge and the public intoxication charge was dismissed upon motion by the state before Magistrate Clem.
On the obstructing charge, Starcher was assessed court costs of $185.25 and received a 15 day jail sentence with credit for 15 days served prior to entering her plea.
Timothy A. Corathers, 32, of Old Mill Road, Weston, was charged with destruction of property by Deputy B.D. Hendershot, LCSD, on May 19.
On June 28, Corathers pleaded guilty before Magistrate Clem. He was assessed a fine of $10, court costs of $185.25, ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $50 and was given a 20-day jail sentence with credit for 20-days served prior to entering his plea.
Dora E. Mullinax, 63, of West Second Street, Weston, was charged with three counts of cruelty to animals by Cpl. D.A. Lothes, WPD, on Jan. 8.
On June 28, under a plea agreement with the state, Mullinax pleaded guilty to one count and two counts were dismissed upon motion by the state before Magistrate Clem.
On the cruelty charge she was assessed court costs of $160.25 and was given a 48 hour jail sentence with credit for 48 hour served prior to entering her plea.
Markus W. Wilt, 25, of Terrace Avenue, Weston, was charged with possession of a controlled substance/metamphetamine by Cpl. E.J. Riddle, WPD, on Feb. 17.
On June 27, Wilt pleaded guilty before Magistrate Gissy. He was assessed court costs of $160.25 and received a 90-day suspended jail sentence replaced with one year of probation with credit for eight days served in jail prior to entering his plea.
Ronald S. Raulston, 47, of North River Avenue, Weston, was charged with driving while license was suspended or revoked for DUI by Cpl. E.J. Riddle, WPD, on June 2.
On June 16, Raulston pleaded guilty before Magistrate Clem. He was assessed a fine of $100, court costs of $160.25, and received a 30-day suspended jail sentence replaced with home incarceration to begin on Aug. 1.
Sheena L. Oldaker-Berg, 28, of Rt. 19N, Jane Lew, was charged with joyriding by Cpl. M.S. Clark, WVSP, on March 38.
On June 22, the charge was dismissed upon motion by the defense, without objeciton by the state, before Magistrate Gissy.
Roger L. Clem, Sr., 51, of Camden Avenue, Weston, was charged with domestic battery by Ptlm. S. Carlton, WPD, on July 27, 2016.
On July 7, the charge was dismissed upon motion by the state before Magistrate Gissy with the notation that the dismissal was the “victim’s request.”
David G. Ables, 35, of Walton Street, Anmoore, was charged with fleeing from police and driving while license was revoked for DUI by Deputy J.S. VanMeter, LCSD, on Nov. 29, 2016.
On July 6, under a plea agreement with the state, Ables pleaded guilty to the driving revoked charge and the fleeing charge was dismissed upon motion by the state before Magistrate Gissy.
On the driving revoked charge, Ables was assessed a fine of $100, court costs of $160.25 and received a 90-day jail sentence with credit for time served. Additionally, he was assessed court costs of $260.25 on the dismissed charge.
Laura Donaldson, 31, of Alum Avenue, Weston, was charged with battery by Deputy J.S. Tonkin, LCSD, on June 29.
On July 3, Donaldson pleaded guilty before Magistrate Clem. She was assessed court costs of $185.25 and received a 30-day suspended jail sentence replaced with one year of probation to include participation in the Community Corrections Program. She was given credit for three days spent in jail.
Tory J. Hamrick, 23, of Country Rental Court, Jane Lew, was charged with DUI by Tpr. F.J. Turansky, WVSP, on March 18.
On June 28, Hamrick pleaded guilty before Magistrate Clem, and was assessed a fine of $300, court costs of $275.25 and was given credit for any time spent in jail as part of the sentence.
Rachel A. Clark, 38, of High Street, Weston, was charged with felony third offense domestic battery and misdemeanor obstructing by Cpl. E.J. Riddle, WPD, on June 18.
On June 28, under a plea agreement with the state, Clark pleaded no contest to a lesser misdemeanor first offense domestic battery charge and the felony and  obstructing charges were dismissed upon motion by the state before Magistrate Gissy.
On the domestic battery charge she was assessed court costs of $160.25 and received a 21 day suspended jail sentence replaced with one year of probation, with credit for  11 days spent in jail prior to her plea.
Charles T. Marsh, Jr., 25, of West Second Street, Weston, was charged with second offense public intoxication and disorderly conduct by Ptlm. J.I. Minney, WPD, on June 28.
On June 30, Marsh pleaded guilty to both charges  before Magistrate Clem. On the public intoxicaton charge he was assessed a fine of $50, court costs of $160.25 and was given credit for 24 hours served in jail prior to his plea.
On the disorderly charge, he was assessed court costs of $160.25 and was given credit for 24 hours served in jail prior to his plea.
Steven M. Gould, 46, of Town Run, Weston, was charged with third offense public intoxication by Cpl. E.J. Riddle, WPD, on June 3.
On June 29, Gould pleaded guilty before Magistrate Clem. He was assessed court costs of $160.25 and was given credit for 26 days spent in jail prior to his plea.
