Anthony C. Briscoe, 41, of Weston was arrested and charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver after a search warrant was executed at his residence by the Lewis County Sheriff’s Department (LCSD) on Sunday, Sept. 24.
The criminal complaint states that the warrant was executed “subsequent to a drug buy operation.”
Briscoe had allegedly delivered methamphetamine to a confidential informant from that location twice in the last month, the complaint continues.
The search warrant allegedly turned up 72 grams of marijuana and 22.3 grams of methamphetamine as well as multiple weight scales and packaging bags.
“Mr. Briscoe has been on our radar for quite some time. He’s distributed meth throughout our county for a number of months. Removing him from our county will certainly cut down on illegal drug distribution,” said Lewis County Sheriff Adam Gissy in a press release regarding the bust.
