The Lewis County Chamber of Commerce has selected Wendy’s Old Fashioned Hamburgers as the October Business of the Month.
This business was established in Lewis County in June of 1977, and employs approximately 40 people.
Wendy’s is known for helping aid in adoption through the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids program, as Dave Thomas, Wendy’s father and founder of the chain of restaurants, was adopted.
Wendy’s also participated in Neighbors Loving Neighbors, which continues to help the victims of the 2016 West Virginia flood by raising over $240,000 to date.
The Weston location is operated by Dave Wenzel of Jane Lew and Ray Blackburn with Jessica Coe as the General Manager.
Wendy’s believes in community involvement and have had very successful community nights, helping local nonprofit organizations.
