Weather Plagues Soccer Maids

The Lewis County High School girls soccer team took to the field Thursday, Oct 4, to take on the North Marion High Huskies after having weather force a postponement of their previous game against East Fairmont on Tuesday, Oct 2.
The weather would again prevent the Maids from finishing a game and would force the Maids into a grueling schedule with 4 games next week including games on three consecutive days against tough opponents.
The Maids begin the stretch at Buckhannon on Tuesday, Oct. 10, at 8 p.m., before returning home the next night to play the postponed contest against East Fairmont at 7:30 p.m..  The Maids will then host Phillip Barbour on Thursday, Oct. 11, at 7:30 p.m.
The Maids then have just one day off before closing out the season schedule by finishing the suspended game against North Marion on Saturday at 10 p.m.
