Therapy Services in Weston is holding a summer day camp focusing on speech and occupational therapy. The camp is held one day a week, with the last two sessions on July 5 and 18.
Nine children were at camp June 27, and two rooms were set up with different activities designed to help with following directions and other social skills.
The ages of the children are four to 10, with siblings of some clients also participating.
Tasks are modified to meet the skill levels of children, according to one therapist, modifying tasks also helps keep the children engaged.
Children in Lewis County can also participate without being a client of Therapy Services for a small fee.
