During the Nicholas County High Volleyball Tournament, Lewis County High School Junior Seanna Stump was awarded the honor of All Conference during the tournament.
This honor is chosen and given by the coaches, during the tournament, to players who put in the most work, motivate their teammates, and when Stump was a freshman she received a similar award, while playing for a travel team.
“It is a great accomplishment,” said Stump.
Stump has been playing volleyball for five years.
“I feel like during the tournament, I talked to my teammates and played my hardest. I always strive to do my best. I feel like during the competition, I was looked at as a team leader,” said Stump.
At the end of the volleyball season, players have the opportunity to make the All-Conference A or B Team, and in her Freshman year in high school, she did make the All-Conference team.
“She [Stump] is very hardworking and works to do anything she is asked,” said Coach Julie Oldaker.
