The Lewis County Sheriff’s Department executed six warrants on a variety of drug-related charges on Tuesday July 25.
According to a press release issued by the department, these charges are the culmination of an investigation that spanned the last several months.
“Over four years ago, law enforcement and community members alike assumed the position to determinedly tackle the drug dilemma impacting our neighborhoods. Today’s arrests serves as a reminder of the continual efforts to clean up our town,” Sheriff Adam Gissy said in the statement.
As off press time, Morganne Grubb, John J. Riley, and Dillian Yeager were in custody, and three other defendants were still being sought by law enforcement on allegations of drug-related crimes.
