Bush Picks up 100th Career win

Robert L. Bland Middle School’s Trenton Bush achieved an impressive career milestone Saturday, Jan. 5, when he picked up the 100th victory of his middle school career with a victory over a wrestler from West Fairmont Middle School.    Bush leads an impressive Patriot team, that has seen their star rise in recent weeks moving up to 15th in the state in a recent Middle School Coaches Poll.
The Patriot wrestlers traveled to Parkersburg Friday, December 28 for two day event.  The Patriots topped four teams in the event, beating Ripley 48-37, John Adams 54-33, Sissionville 48-37, and Warm Springs 48 to 42 in the event.
The Patriots travelled to West Fairmont on Thursday, Jan. 3, and continued their winning ways beating two of the three teams they faced. The Patriots edged Morgantown 42 to 40, and trounced Preston County 59-22, but came up short against West Fairmont 51 to 36.   
The Patriots look to keep on winning when they travel to Bridgeport Middle School Wednesday, Dec. 9 to take on the Braves, matches begin at 7 p.m.
