West Virginia’s only AAA Four Diamond Lakeside Resort and Conference Center, Stonewall Resort is the perfect haven for business and pleasure. The resort is located at Stonewall Resort State Park near Weston, West Virginia, and features an Adirondack-style lodge, a beautiful RV campsite, 10 Saltbox-style cottages, and two new lakeside all cottages with an outstanding view of rolling mountains and the perfectly peaceful Stonewall Jackson Lake.
Stonewall Resort promises both day guests and overnight guests a one-of-a-kind opportunity to experience the tranquility of nature and to enjoy a broad range of activities, dining outlets and spa services.
The 26-mile long Stonewall Jackson Lake offers some of the best Muskellunge, Crappie and Bass fishing in the state and is home to a full-service marina where you can rent pontoon boats, fishing boats and aqua cycles for a fun lakeside experience.
Guests visiting for the day can also take advantage of the 16+ miles of beautiful hiking and biking trails, including the recently built Lakeside Nature Trail. The trails range in difficulty, but each offers a great opportunity to enjoy the scenic beauty and abundance of flora and fauna of the state park.
Stonewall Resort also offers golfers a chance to play on a gorgeous 18-hole course carved by “The King” himself. The Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course has been consistently ranked among the top 100 “Best Resort Courses in America” by Golfweek Magazine and is a fun experience for golfers of any skill level. In 2015, Stonewall Resort introduced The King’s Course.
This short course has a unique set of tees that allows youth, beginner golfers and skilled players alike the option of a 2,600-yard short course. The King’s Course presents the enjoyment of an Arnold Palmer Signature Course at a more comfortable length.
One of the favorite amenities that the resort offers to both day and overnight guests is the rejuvenating Mtn. Laurel Spa. Located just inside the main lodge building, Mtn. Laurel Spa features organic and custom-designed products and services including massages, body therapies, facials and hand & foot treatments.
Additionally, Stonewall Resort is home to three unique restaurants: Lightburn’s, TJ Muskies Lounge and the signature restaurant, Stillwater’s. Each restaurant has a signature style, but all feature local, fresh ingredients. On most Saturday evenings throughout the summer, you’ll often find live music inside TJ Muskies Lounge or on the expansive lakeside patio.
Stonewall Resort has many holiday festivities scheduled for guests to enjoy including holiday parties, concerts, and dinners.
