The superintendent of Lewis County Schools was one of the judges for the Louis Bennett Public Library’s pumpkin decorating contest. The contest had 22 children in total participate and had two age divisions-age five and below, and age six and older.
The pumpkins were donated by TJ’s Greenhouse for the library’s event, and all materials were provided by the library for the children to decorate with.
Judges for the contest were superintendent Dr. Robin Lewis, Sherry Stobbs and Kim Bozic. First place for the five and under division was Bella Tennant, age three. First place for the six and older division was Kale DeLong, age seven.
