Volunteers are working on Weston’s parks.
A project last week corrected the drainage problem at Polk Creek Community Park.
The Weston Parks and Recreation Committee received help from many people including Roger Gaines, Bryan Reed, John Lamb, the Coffield family, John Riffle and the Weston Street Department.
There had been an issue of poor drainage at the Polk Creek Community Park and the Riffles had it fixed.
Now they are working to build a shelter with a bathroom there. Interested parties can send a donation to Weston Parks and Recreation at 230 Hospital Plaza, Weston, WV 26452 and designate it for the shelter.
