Patricia “Trisha” Ellen Raines, 57, of Elmwood Avenue, in Stonewood, passed away unexpectedly on May 9, 2018, at her residence.
She was born in Baltimore City, MD on August 12, 1960, a daughter of the late Anthony Bernard Palmisano and Jean Estelle Kailer Palmisano.
On May 25, 2000, she married James Rodney Raines and they celebrated 15 years of marriage before his passing on April 3, 2016.
She is survived by one daughter, Amy Bush and husband, Tim, of Pasadena, MD; four grandchildren: Kimberly, Alexis, and Timothy Jr. Bush, and Haley Armstrong; one sister, JoAnn Drury and husband, Curtis, of Glen Burnie, MD; close friends: Judy and Steve Utley; and her beloved cat, Gizmo who was always by her side.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Palmisano.
Trisha worked in the hospitality industry most of her life, having bartended, waitressed, and managed a Denny’s Restaurant. She was an active member and volunteer at the Horizon’s Church where she was passionately involved with Celebrate Recovery and tried to Live To Make A Difference, and help others Find Freedom From Hurts, Hang-Ups & Habits. One of her favorite pleasures in life was enjoying some good steamed crabs, and the company of great friends.
Trisha’s request for cremation has been honored. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Celebrate Recovery at Horizon’s Church in Lost Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2018, with “large group” to follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Celebrate Recovery at Horizons Church PO Box 60 Lost Creek , WV 26385.
