Minutemen up to Bat for the Season

With High school baseball underway, it is time to give a review from players on how they feel going into the season, both as a team and individuals.
When asked about training for baseball, Jacob Gragg, a sophomore and a second year
returning player, said: “We worked hard in the off season. We are practicing a lot, trying to work before and after school.
“I won’t be as nervous about it this year,” Gragg added when asked how he feels about returning this year. “Happy to be back on the team and looking forward to the season.”
Drew Kuhn, a junior and a third year returning and starting player, says he and the rest of his teammates are excited for this year.
“There are a lot of changes this year,” Kuhn said, when asked about differences from last year. We got a new head coach, brand new jerseys, and new pants.”
Kuhn plays left field as a starter.
“I think we have a pretty good chance to go to states,” he added.
The team’s first scheduled game on March 17 was cancelled due to inclement weather, but the team went on to play South Harrison on March 20, coming out in the lead with a final score of 11-4.
