Maxine Luella (Raybuck) Winans, 93, of Marietta Care and Rehab Center of Marietta, OH, formerly of Weston, left this world surrounded by family and entered Heaven’s Gate on Monday, March 27, 2017.
She was born in Clarksburg, WV on March 17, 1924: daughter of the late Shirley Raybuck and Lexie M. (Riffle) McCluster.
Mrs. Winans is survived by two children: Debra L. Roush and husband Jeff of Waverly, WV and William F. Winans and wife Meg of Knoxville, TN, four grandchildren: Cindy Rucker and husband Chris, Rhonda Snyder and husband Jon, Dea Tamper and Monica Brasher and husband Brian, one step grandson: John Thomas Shults, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Maxine was preceded in death by one sister: Francis Smith, two brothers: Harold and Edward Raybuck, two half brothers: Billy and Jimmy McCluster and one half sister: Eileen McCluster.
Mrs. Winans was a homemaker. She attended the Faith Baptist Church of Vienna, WV. She will be missed by her family and friends.
Family and friends were received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue, Weston, on Friday, March 31, 2017, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Funeral services were held on Friday, at 2 p.m., at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Douglas Guinn officiating. Interment will follow services in the Snyder Cemetery of Churchville, WV.
