During the month of March, Lewis County Senior Center is participating in the national March For Meals Program in an effort to raise awareness of senior hunger and funds for our Meals on Wheels program.
A total of 31,634 meals were delivered last year to home bound seniors. Friendly volunteers & donations help us provide this vital service to the frail elderly. Meals on Wheels is ‘more than just a meal’—the program addresses the three biggest threats of aging: isolation, hunger, and loss of independence.
This program needs community involvement. Will you join us this year to make sure in our community that no senior goes hungry? Call Jeanette or Ginger at the Lewis County Senior Center, 304-269-5738.
