Local woman hurt in Morgantown accident

A Weston woman remains in Ruby Memorial Hospital in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle on Tuesday, Feb. 20.
Sara Queen, 20, of Weston, a student at West Virginia University was struck while in the crosswalk  by a 2018 Ford F-250 at around 10:38 a.m., on Tuesday, Feb. 20, according to Morgantown Police Chief Ed Preston.   
Preston noted on Friday, Feb. 23, that officers where working to reconstruct the accident by reviewing video footage, and interviewing eye witnesses.  Preston added that the drivers name has not been released as charges has yet to be filed.    
Queen’s family, in a social media post Sunday thanked the community for their prayers and messages of support, and asked for continued prayers.
