Library building deteriorating

The Lewis County Library building is greatly deteriorating! Stand by the road or front steps and mist of the facade is rotting or missing. It is time the county and the city of Weston pay for repairs. It may be a county building, but it is in the city limits and the city of Weston greatly benefits from the library and that it is a historical building.
The increased revenue from city taxes and annexation can pay for it. The outside should be done to save the building and make it more presentable. The inside could be done another year.
I also urge all who use it for computers, books, and library services to drop some money in the contribution box each time they go in. A few dollars can add up. I believe the library board will make sure the money is spent wisely. Restore the building or return it to the Bennett Family.
