The Dazzling Diamonds in conjunction with the Lewis County High School Theatre Department hosted two one-act plays on Friday and Saturday night, where patrons also donated items to the Ronald McDonald House in lieu of an admission fee.
The first play “Svetlana’s First Christmas Away from Home,” told the story of a chaotic Christmas play, where a foreign exchange student is sad because she is away from home. However, Svetlana is cheered up when one of the characters dresses like a spider, because there were no more costumes left, and it reminded her of the Christmas Spider, which is a tradition from her home country.
The second play told the classic story of the Christmas and Christ’s entry into the world.
During the Christmas Story the cast sang the songs “What Child is This?”, “Noel”, “We Three Kings” and “Do you Hear what I Hear?”.
