LCHS Cross Country Places at Doddridge

On Sept. 12, the Lewis County Maids and Lewis County Minutemen cross country team traveled to Doddridge County to compete in the Doddridge County Invitational.
The Maids would earn a 6th place finish out of 10 teams with Doddridge County taking first place.
The Maids had five runners place in the event. Placing fourth was Brooke Bennett with a time of 23:08.42; 5th place Emily Louk 23:32.85; Savannah King 42nd place 28:58.00; Emily Herron 46th place 29:42.67 and Abby Oldaker 53rd place 30:24.23.
The Minutemen came in 8th place in a thirteen team field. Six Runners place for Lewis County which included Adin Post 15th place 20:38.83; Jacob Moore 28th place 21:15.13; Avery Post 29th place 21:15.91; Asa Post 43rd place 22:10.95, Logan Kovach 78th place 24:35.00 and Dakota Lough 92nd place 25:57.88.
The next action was slated for Tuesday, Sept. 19, at Buckhannon Upshur.
