Lady Patriots Close Out Season


The Lady Patriots volleyball team was at home on Wednesday, Oct. 18, taking on Kasson in a varsity only match. The Lady Patriots brought their A-game and rolled to a 25-17 and 2-9 win.
“Kasson has a real good volleyball team this year,: stated Coach Glen Pratt. “We just clicked on all volleyball skills tonight to gain the victory.”
Courtney Hartley scored 10 points with five aces and three kills. Emma Post added 10 points with three aces. Brooke Butcher and Madisyn Montgomery chipped in five points each.
The Lady Patriots were at home on Oct. 19, in their final regular season game. The JV squad would come put fired up and roll to a 25-16 and 25-19 win.
Chloe Richards would be in the zone as she scored 16 points with six aces. Adison Heath added nine points with five aces.
“The JV girls had been struggling with their serve, but found their mark tonight,” said Pratt.
“They played one of their best games of the year tonight. I am very proud of the progress these girls made.”
The varsity girls made sure they would finish the season with a winning record as they came ready to play and rolled to a 25-12 and 25-13 win.
Courtney Hartley score 12 points with three aces. Brooke Butcher added 10 points with six aces. Abby Hartley and Elleonna Stump had two kills each.
“The Lady Patriots varsity won three of their last four matches to make sure they had a winning season,” said Pratt.
“We played outstanding volleyball to finish the season string and that’s what a coach loves to see from his team. It was an awesome of Lady Patriots volleyball.”
