Lewis County High School Senior Jaclyn Kovach was selected as a finalist in the West Virginia Homecoming Queen competition. This year’s competition was held in Roanoke, Virginia, on March 18.
“She did a great job all the way around. I’m really proud of her,” Kovach’s mother Amy said.
Although Kovach will not represent WV in the national homecoming queen competition, she has other things coming up to keep her busy.
She will be traveling to Boston in April to accept her Yes I Can! award, and will travel to Charleston next week for Girl’s Day at the WV Legislature.
