Grand Jury indicts 24


One defendant accused of battery against a government official

Twenty-four defendants were indicted in the March 2018 term of the Lewis County Grand Jury Monday.
Timothy Spangler, 31, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm, a felony, one count of battery on a government representative, two counts of obstructing a West Virginia Department of Natural Resources Officer, one count of possession of a controlled substance: Buprenorphine, one count of driving with a suspended license, and one count of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm, all misdemeanors.
John Davisson, 27, of Alum Bridge, was indicted on one count of wanton endangerment involving a firearm, one count of malicious assault, one count of the use or presentation of a firearm during commission of a felony, one count of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver: Methamphetamine, all felonies, as well as two misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance for Marijuana and Hydrocodone.
Michael Stewart, 41, of Weston, was indicted on one count of strangulation, and one count of third-offense domestic battery, felonies.
Charles Sandreth, 38, of Volga, was indicted on three felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance, Methamphetamine.
Clint McVay, 59, of Weston, was indicted on two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, Clorazepate, three counts of delivery of a controlled substance charges, two for Methamphetamine and the other Oxycodone, and one conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance: Methamphetamine, all felonies.
Chasity McVay, 36, of Weston, was indicted on felonies of of delivery of a controlled substance: Methamphetamine, conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance: Methamphetamine, daytime burglary, and misdemeanors charges of petit larceny,and falsely reporting an emergency incident.
Kasey Davisson, 29, of Buckhannon, was indicted on felonies of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver: Methamphetamine, conspiracy to possess a controlled substance with the intent to deliver: Methamphetamine, and two misdemeanors of possession of a controlled substance, one for Marijuana and the other for Hydrocodone.
Mark Moffatt, 36, of Walkersville, was indicted on one count felony count each of the manufacturing of a controlled substance, and conspiracy to manufacture a controlled substance.
Troy Taylor, 43, of Walkersville, was indicted on one felony count each of the manufacturing of a controlled substance, and conspiracy to manufacture a controlled substance.
Deidra Blake, 41, of Horner, was indicted on one felony count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver: Methamphetamine.
Anthony Briscoe, 42, of Weston, was indicted on three felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance, Methamphetamine, and two felony counts of the possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver (Marijuana and Methamphetamine).
Killon Pugh, 24, of Walkersville, was indicted on three felony counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to delver, two for Oxycodone and one for Marijuana, and 11 felony counts of conspiracy to possess a controlled substance with the intent to deliver (one for Marijuana and two each for Lorazepam, Alprazolam, Methamphetamine, Methylphenidate and Buprenorphine).
Cassandra Miller, 29, of Walkersville, was indicted on seven felony counts of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, and seven felony counts of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance, both sets of charges in reference to Buprenorphine, Marijuana, Methamphetamine, Methylphenidate, Oxycodone, Alprazolam and Lorazepam.
Evan Geiger, 21, of Clarksburg, was indicted on two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, in reference to Marijuana and Clonazepam.
Agnes Conrad, 50, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of welfare fraud.
Monchelle Nicholas, 30, of Gassaway, was indicted on one felony count each of forgery and uttering.
Leonard Carroll, 28, of Clarksburg, was indicted on five counts of forgery of public record, five counts of uttering of a public record, all felonies, as well as one count of second-offense shoplifting, one count of conspiracy to commit shoplifting, misdemeanors.
Christopher Casto, 39, of Clarksburg, was indicted on one count of third-offense shoplifting, a felony.
Vanessa Logan, 31, of Oakland, Maryland, was indicted on one felony count of grand larceny.
Eric Clark, 38, of Ireland, was indicted on two felony counts of daytime burglary, and misdemeanors of  attempted petit larceny, destruction of property, and two counts of petit larceny.
Matthew Lane, 22, of Walkersville, was indicted on one felony count of sexual assault in the third degree.
Rebecca Williams-Leon, 30, of Jane Lew, was indicted on one felony count of fraudulent use of an access device.
Rachel Clark, 39, of Weston, was indicted on one felony count of domestic battery, third offense.
Dakota Blake, 22, of Fairmont, was indicted on two felony counts of forgery of registration, one misdemeanor count each of duty upon striking fixtures upon a highway, no required security, operation without certificate, and one count of no operator’s license.
