Melissa Frey was sentenced to 60 days in jail Tuesday, April 18, by Magistrate Clem in Lewis County Magistrate Court.
Frey was originally sentenced on child neglect with risk of injury.
Assistant Prosecuting Attorney James Clevenger told Clem that Frey’s revocation has been pending since March 23. Frey tested positive for methamphetimine and THC at yesterday’s hearing.
Frey has tested positive previous times. Defense attorney Hunter Simmons asked for a continuance, which Clem denied.
Frey asked to report to jail today, but Clem said she has had prior violations, including testing positive at the Day Report Center and not checking in. Frey reported to jail yesterday for 60 days, with credit for time served.
