Elementary School Visits Mountaineer Military Museum

Fifty students from Third Broad Elementary School in Elkins visited The Mountaineer Military Museum last week. The Lewis County Honor Guard assisted with the tour.
Students studied WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and the Gulf War prior to making the trip. Members of the Honor Guard posed for pictures with the students and taught them the proper way to fold the American Flag.
“I love this place. I want to be a Navy Seal when I grow up,” One student, Caleb, remarked.
