Travis Riffle, 41, of Weston, was arrested May 19, on felony domestic battery, a third offense.
Riffle allegedly choked a woman twice before she called 911.
An officer with the West Virginia State Police obtained a statement from the victim, along with two photographs of her neck.
In an unrelated case, Charles Baxter, 54, of Clarksburg, was arrested on May 19, for driving with his license revoked while under the influence (DUI), a third offence, which is a felony.
Baxter was arrested by the Weston Police Department after he allegedly traveled the wrong way on Main Avenue in Weston.
