Lena Conaway, 35, of Clearwater, Florida, formerly Weston, who stands accused in the death of her then 3-year-old daughter, Aliayah Lunsford, appeared in Lewis County Circuit Court last week for motion hearings.
Jury selection in her case begins Thursday morning, and the trial begins Monday, April 16, at 9 a.m.
Conaway was arrested in November, 2016 on charges connected in the 2011 disappearance of her daughter whose body has not been recovered.
Conaway was indicted by a Lewis County Grand Jury on felony counts of the murder of a child by a parent by failure to provide necessities, death of a child by parent by child abuse, child abuse resulting in injury, and concealment of a dead body. She was arrested by sheriffs deputies in Lewis County.
At past hearings, she has entered a motion to move her trial outside of Lewis County, but Judge Jacob Reger ruled that he would not consider moving the trial until after jury selection.
