Bailie Ranee Boyce is SJMH New Year’s Baby


Mr. and Mrs. (Kayla) Johnathon Boyce, of Weston, are the proud parents of the Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital New Year’s Baby born at 11:20 p.m. on January 1, 2019.  The little girl, Bailie Ranee, weighed six pounds, ten ounces and measured nineteen inches long.   She was delivered by Dr. Robert Harris, of Mountaineer Healthcare for Women.  She has an older brother, three-year-old Connor.
Kayla Boyce noted, “We are so excited by this honor and want to thank the hospital for the gifts and wonderful service here.”
The family was provided diapers and other necessities by Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital.  The Theresa Snaith Hospital Auxiliary provided a stuff toy and other baby clothing for the newborn.  Caplan’s Jewelry Store in Weston provided a baby gift, also.
The baby’s maternal grandparents are Neil and Crystal Golden of Weston, and Tammy Hicks of Jane Lew. Kayla has one sister, Shelby Golden, of Jane Lew.
Johnathon’s parents are Colleen Boyce and the late Jerry Boyce, of Shinnston. Johnathon has one brother, William Boyce, of Fairmont.  Paternal great-grandparents are Bill and Martha Poling of Logan, Ohio.
