A two vehicle incident on the corner of Main Avenue and West Second Street in Weston forced traffic to be rerouted through downtown Weston for nearly an hour on Friday, April 6.
The accident happened when a car went underneath a tractor trailer that was turning from Main Avenue onto Second Street. No injuries were reported to either driver.
The cleanup of the accident took nearly an hour and was complicated by the fact that the car was wedged underneath the trailer portion of the tractor trailer.
Members of the Weston Fire Department worked to dislodge the vehicle, as members of the Weston Police Department and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Department conducted traffic control on Main Avenue.
